The Lynn Institute is thrilled to host our 3rd Annual Girls Night Out, an inspiring and impactful evening designed to educate, celebrate, and empower women across our community. Taking place on Friday, May 1 at the historic Will Rogers Theatre, this signature event will proudly kick off Women’s Health Month with a memorable night of connection and purpose.

Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated evening featuring a delicious dinner, live entertainment, and engaging speakers, including a women’s health expert and a motivational speaker delivering an uplifting, affirming message for women at every stage of life. Beyond the program, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with one another in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and new friendships. Girls Night Out is more than just an event—it’s a celebration of strength, resilience, and the importance of prioritizing personal well-being.

Proceeds from the event directly support the Lynn Institute’s mission to improve community health, helping to expand access to education, wellness programs, and critical resources for underserved populations. Dr. Alyssa Penick

Dr. Penick is a board-certified family medicine and hospitalist with SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University and completed her internship and residency with SSM Health. Her medical interests are in obstetrical care, women’s general and reproductive health, and primary care.

Dr. Tabatha Carr

Dr. Carr is an entrepreneur who started her own chocolate company, Good Girl Chocolate, right here in Oklahoma City. As a certified woman-owned, bean-to-bar chocolate factory, she’s not just making chocolate from scratch, but building a legacy of empowerment, innovation, community, and indulgence. Her chocolate is now available in 150 Whole Foods stores nationwide.

Taylor Deneen

Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City. Her signature sound comes from a variety of genres, including R&B, neo-soul, pop, and jazz. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, earning the Berklee Voice Department’s Outstanding Performer Award. She appeared on Season 24 of NBC’s The Voice and landed as a Top 24 contestant, and was praised by John Legend as the “best soul singer” in the blind auditions.

Brianna Brown

Brianna Brown is an Emmy-nominated journalist with KWTV-News 9 in Oklahoma City. Brianna earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Oklahoma. While in college she was selected to spend time in Washington, D.C., covering Oklahoma’s congressional delegation and reporting on issues impacting tribal nations and underserved communities.
