“Last year, we brought a fresh energy to our annual Lynn Legacy event with a new evening format featuring live music, networking, and a lively, celebratory atmosphere. It was our way of making the event more dynamic while honoring the meaningful impact the Lynn Institute is making in the Oklahoma City community. We’re delighted to once again bring this exciting event in 2026—and even more thrilled to share what’s ahead.”

Become a Legacy Sponsor

The Lynn Institute offers multiple sponsorships for our Sip, Savor, & Support Lynn Legacy Event so you can select the sponsorship level that is right for you. By becoming a Legacy Sponsor, you will enable the Lynn Institute to continue with:

  • Community engagement initiatives for under-served neighborhoods and communities including health and vision screenings, youth mentorship, support groups, home resources and improvement, educational support, workforce development, life skills classes, neighborhood fitness programs, and distribution of additional resources needed for quality of life and health.

  • Fresh food distributions in Oklahoma County for communities where access to fresh produce and meat is limited. In 2025, Lynn partnered with 12 community organizations to distribute food to more than 6,200 households.

  • Increased production of organic fruits and vegetables at our Lynn Institute Community Garden at Expand. In 2025, the Lynn garden produced more than 12,000 pounds of nutrient-dense produce to local families in need. This represented a 302% increase over 2024 (3,990 pounds) and a 52% reduction in reliance on external sources to supplement our ability to provide food. The garden staff has an ambitious goal to harvest even more in 2025!

  • Building confidence and life skills in youth fulfilling their civic engagement requirements through our CREW and CREW Connections programs. CREW hosted 718 participants through 35 classes where they engaged in a wide range of activities designed to be both educational and empowering, including goal-setting workshops, reinforcement activities, planting and harvesting, nutrition and food preparation, community projects, CPR training, line dancing, and more. These hands-on experiences helped participants develop responsibility, teamwork, and practical skills they can carry into adulthood. CREW Connections served 170 participants in 17 classes, offering smaller, more intimate sessions focused on emotional wellness, self-worth, and healing.

  • Addressing critical mental health experiences by training organizations on Trauma-Informed Care to provide them with the knowledge and tools to recognize the widespread impact of trauma and respond in ways that promote healing and resilience. The Lynn Institute also trains individuals and organizations on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), which are potentially traumatic events that occurred during childhood, such as abuse, neglect, or household dysfunction. The goal of this training is to help participants better understand the behaviors and needs of the people they serve, and to equip their team with tools to respond in ways that foster healing, connection, and long-term success.

  • Development of green spaces, gardens and small parks to provide access to food, community engagement, health resources, fitness opportunities, and neighborhood improvement. Lynn has rejuvenated the Lynn Institute Community Garden at Expand, formerly known as the Chesapeake Energy Garden, to become a food resource and place of beauty, as well as helped create the Tabitha Community Park.
